Explore Austin through stories! The Asunder app links stories to real-world Austin locations. Asunder invites you to get out, get walking, and experience the city anew. The stories compel you to take a closer look, traverse an unfamiliar street, stroll instead of rush, tune in instead of out. You may have done an audio tour of a city before bland, canned, generic, safe, touristy fare. This ain t that. Asunder stories are sharp and distinctive. Think Hunter S. Thompson not Mister Rogers. And Asunder stories don t stop at audio narration. They throw at you all a smartphone can videos, images, music, sound effects, and augmented reality. Whatever it takes to knock your socks off. A map guides you from one story spot to another. You ll get entranced but not lost. Once you arrive at your destination, the app notifies you that a new part of the story is available. Launch it with a simple swipe. Boom. Notes: * The app utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to trigger the relevant parts of the stories. * The app utilizes Location Services to record the last known location of the iBeacons, based on your phone s geo -location data. * Continued use of GPS or Bluetooth running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. * Works with iPhone 4S and newer.
